Proview PL926Wbi Widescreen Monitor

Bought the Proview 19" Widescreen for my XP computer. Still have original
driver CD. The questions mes has is will it work on Vista??? Sorry if
stupider question buts need to know if mes need to get monitor with mes new
computer. Thanks in advance.

According to the website, they don't even have xp drivers, just a generic
that can work with it. They claim op through XP will treat it as a generic
monitor, and it's probable that Vista will do the same. But there are no
Vista drivers for it.

It's worth trying and seeing if you like what you get. If not you can always
buy a new one.

In general, since almost all monitors are Plug and Play monitors, you don't
really need specific monitor drivers. A Plug and Play monitor reports to
Windows what capabilities it has and Windows can then use standard drivers
to support it. Only if the monitor doesn't properly report it's PnP
capabilities will a specific driver be needed.
