prooving read receipt was accepted

Ok stick with me on this question, how do i prove to a sender that I accepted
their read receipt and did not decline it. They are saying they didn't get
it I am saying that I accepted the read receipt, but i dont know how to prove
it if they dont get the email showing the read receipt

You don't have to prove anything. As the recipient, it is your choice
whether to send a read receipt or not. All they can do is *request* that
you send one. Also, e-mail is NOT a guaranteed delivery service, so there
is no guarantee that you get their e-mail simply because they tried to send
it, and there is no guarantee that they get your read receipt message simply
because you tried to send it.
