Prompted for install of "PROMET.MSI"

Every time I try to use an Windows program, I get
the "Preparing to Install" Prompt, it asks for the MS
OFFICE XP CD and wants to install the "PROMET.MSI" file.
If I put the CD in and say OK, everything goes ok, if I
Cancel out of the installer, everything goes OK.

Now, let me say that I attempted to load a device driver
that failed resulting in the Blue screen on reboot. I
used the W2K Installer CD to get to the recovery console
so I could delete the driver (only way I could get to the
C drive to remove the file). This went fine. The system
rebooted from the C drove just fine once it was removed.

Problem resolved.

When performing "Office Updates", from website, action
could not proceed until the "InstxMsi.exe" file was
installed and executed. This corrected the problem of the
missing *msi files and allowed for updates to office
products to occur.
