Programs that automatically load on startup

When I turn my computer on two programs load that I don't
want. I do not want the programs deleted from my
computer because from time to time I use them. Manually
turning off these programs each time to clear overhead is
wasting time.

How do I inactivate these programs on startup?

Look in the program options for a setting that enables auto start at boot
and disable them. If they placed shortcuts in your all programs|startup
folder then delete the shortcuts from there.

How do I inactivate these programs on startup?

Click "Start" and select "Run"

Enter:-

msconfig

and click "OK"

Click "Startup" tab and look for the programs in that list.

Click on the tick next to the programs you do not want to start at
startup to remove the tick.

Click on "OK".

At next start up you might get a window telling you that the system
configuration utility has been used to modify startup or something
like that. Just tick the box that says do not show again. Sorry I
cannot remember exact wording but I'm sure you will see what to do.

How do I inactivate these programs on startup?

Open the main windows for the programs. Look in their menus for options
that control the startup behavior. If found, change the settings.

Or, use Start> Run and type in MSCONFIG. You should see those programs
listed on the startup page of this tool. Uncheck their boxes. Click OK.
Restart. On this first restart after making changes, the system will tell
you that your startup has changed. Check the box for "do not show this
again" and click OK.
