program install problem

I just tried to install a program called "web page designer" and get an
error box labeled "16 bit windows subsystem" the error states
"c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable for
running MS-DOS and Microsoft applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the
application."
I have had this happen with several applications while other applications
install just fine.
HELP......

Copy the autoexec.nt file from C:\Windows\Repair to
C:\Windows\System32.
And set Attributes for autoexec.nt to Read-only.

Based
Program"
