profile error

i upgrade my windows from millinuem to xp professional,
but after that i receive the following messages:

Windows did not load your roaming profile and is
attempting to log you on with your local profile. Changes
to the profile will not be copied to the server when you
logoff. Windows did not load your profile because a server
copy of the profile folder already exists that does not
have the correct security. Either the current user or the
Administrator's group must be the owner of the folder.
Contact your network administrator.

Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you
on with a temporary profile. Changes to your profile will
be lost when you log off.

and even i can browse the network, i can not get users and
groups list to give sharing permissions

what can i do?

Try this:

Right click 'My Computer' -> Properties
Click the advanced tab
Click settings under user profiles
Select the account in question, then click 'change type'
Change the type to local profile

Thank u sir for your help, i tried what u said , the

message disapaered but still i can not get users and
groups list from server
