Just spent a couple of fruitless hours trawling the web looking for answer
to my brothers problem of *.mp3's skipping during playback.
How does / ......is it possible to permanently change the processing
priority of a program like wmplayer.exe ?
I can get task manager up and right-click on wmplayer.exe and assign it a
higher proiority while it's playing a track, but after wmp is closed and
restarted - priority is back to Normal.
What processes can be safely closed down in Task Manager, in order to try
and pin down which software could be hogging resourses / the bus , and
causing WMP and other mp3 player software to skip.
.....anyone in here who knows lots about the buffering that goes on, to do
with mp3 playback ?
regards, Richard
