Problems with multiple user accounts in Windows XP?

I run Windows XP SP2 with all patches up-to-date.

I installed MS AntiSpyware under a computer administrator
account.

Under a limited account, I can update AntiSpyware
signatures (it says), and can run AntiSpyware scan. But
the update of the signatues does NOT appear under the
computer administrator account.

If I update AntiSpyware signatures under the limited
account, the update appears under all accounts.

This is not desirable behaviour. Better it reject the
attempt to update signatures under limited accounts, with
a clear message, including why, than to apppear to allow
it but not use it across the entire machine.

Thanks Ian--Microsoft is aware of shortcomings in the multi-user scenario,
and a number of bugs have been filed against this functionality (or lack
thereof!)
