Windows XP Problems with archive.pst file

I have old emails saved in an archive.pst file. I can not open the file. Originally it was included as a archive folder in the outlook window for my emails. How can I either access the file or better yet have it again appear as a folder in outlook when I am checking emails?

Have you tried in Outlook, File, Open Outlook Data File and what does it do.

If it works, you should have a new folder with the mails in it at the bottom of your Folders list.

Give it a try, it worked for me.
