Problems using powerpoint 2002 files in PPT 2007

We made a PowerPoint presentation in 2002 and when i open it in 2007 i can
edit it fine and do whatever, when i go to play the slideshow it will not
advance on click or timer, and i cannot right click to get the menu, i have
to press "esc" to go back. Any suggestions?

And yes, the option for right clicking is enabled

In the SlideShow Settings, do you have 'Presented by a speaker' or 'Kiosk'
selected?
