Problems transferring PPT files from MS Office 2007 to 2003

I use MS Office 2007 (PowerPoint) and send files to a client (who uses MS
Office 2003 ) but some formatting (mainly tabs) disappears. I can't
troubleshoot because I don't see the problem on my end, but the client
insists the files are incorrect upon receipt. Can you please advise?

Abdicate.

I would disable the advanced 2007 features when building presentation that
you know will be used on a 2003 only site, but that is just me, I guess.

What tabs are you using? If they are Controls, then both machines must have
the controls available and active before they can be used.

Tab stops work differently in 2007 and 2003. In 2007, they can be applied to
every line of text. In 2003, all text in a textbox or placeholder gets the
same tab stops.

You might try giving all the 2007 text in the box the same tab stops. That
might do the trick when the file's opened in 2003.
