PROBLEMS STARTING MY COMPUTER

B

Babak

Hi,

I have a VAIO PCG-GRT25F, and I have recentle restarted all my
computer.

The problems is that now, every time I turn on the computer appears a
BLUE ERROR SCREEN and inmediatly it restarts, this happens two or three
times after the laptop succed loading Windows XP.

Another problem is that sometimes before de BLUE SCREEN a black screen
apears saying that SYSTEM/CONFIG is damage and it must be rapair.

Also sometimes when I'm working or playing in my Laptop a BLUE SCREEN
suddenly appear. But i dont have time to read what it says because
inmediatly it restarts.

Do anybody knows what could be happening?

Thanks,
Alfredo

What do you mean by "restarted all my computer"? If you mean you performed
a clean installation of Windows XP, you probably need to find some video
drivers. You could also try a fresh format and installation again.

You should also go into system properties/advanced/startup and recovery and
uncheck the automatic restart feature. Then you will be able to see all the
error messages and either look them up in the knowledge base or repost here.
The video driver suggestion is a good one to do, also.
