I have run a repair / upgrade on my existing Windows XP
system. However, when I attempt to manually set up a
network connection (home use only), after trying to 'Add a
new connection' in Control Panel, the only option that I
am able to select is the third, 'Broadband that is always
on', when I actually need to select the first option 'Dial-
up modem'. The first 2 options are diabled, so I am unable
to proceed from here.
Is this something to do with registry settings that need
to be changed after the repair?
Any urgent assistance will be greatly appreciated!
