Problems replying with word

Guest

I have a colleague who has been using Word to compose her E-Mails with no
problems. However today when she tried to reply to an E-Mail, outlook just
sat there looking pretty with the egg timer.
But when options is changed to using outlook to compose E-Mails it works
fine.

Any ideas what could have caused this and how to fix it

Thanks

Should I conclude from this you are using Outlook 2003? ;-)

If it is caused by a hanging process a reboot of the computer should fix it
for sure.
Do you get any error meesages?
Does it work when creating a new mail or replying to a new mail?
Tried a repair on Office already?

Insert the CD-> load setup and choose repair. You might need to reapply the
Office Service Packs and hotfixes.
