Problems part 2

S

Steve

I'm running windows XP pro

I recently de-installed Direct CD and this resulted in a corrupt registry
and the loss of my CD ROM and CD RW from the "My computer" listings.
With some very good help from "Taurarian", I edited the registry and solved
the
problem.

Now, neither Windows Media Player or my Easy CD creator software will
recognize my installed CD RW drive. Any help you could offer in resolving
this would be most appreciated.

Thanks, -Steve

Try re-installing the S/W that came with the drive? If it all came
pre-installed, try going to the makers web site and download the latest
driver for that model then install that.
