I recently bought a new computer as per my signature.
I have a belkin adsl-modem/router G 125 (802.11).
On my old computer running xp I had no problems connecting but with the new comp I have to go through about 6 re-starts every morning to be able to get online.
I have tried switching the modem/router on first and leaving a few minutes before switching on computer but still the same.After numerous re-starts of the computer it will connect and then seems to be ok all day until i switch off at night.
Any advice appreciated.

p.s. the modem is connected to the computer by the yellow cable - i only use wireless for my hp ipaq.
