Problem with TZEdit Utility

P

PJ Usher

Windows 2000 Pro

Ran TZEdit
Made the recommended changes
Went to Control Panel > Time Change and selected another time zone, then
switched back

Manually adjusted the time for March 23, 2007
The current time zone: Eastern Daylight Saving Time
Date adjusted but the clock did not.
Adjusted to April 23, 2007, again the current time zone is Eastern Daylight
Saving
and again the clock did not adjust.

Looked in the registry and the changes are there.

Any help to figure out what went wrong would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion. Rebooted and no joy.

PJ

Probably if you reboot the changes will be in place for the time zone.

If the time doesn't adjust for either the old or new settings are you
sure that the "Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving chages" is
checked in the Date/Time properties?

Thanks for your response.
Just to make sure I unchecked then checked the "Automatically adjust clock
...."
