Problem with the deleted items folder

Occassionally, I retreive items from the deleted items folder. I have noticed
that in the last couple of days that I can't retreive items from the deleted
folder to put back into my inbox.

I'm using Outlook 2003.

Anyone else having this problem? Is there a fix for it?

Any help is appreciated.

Perhaps you have the following setting in Tools|Options|Other

1.. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
2.. Select the Empty the Deleted Items folder upon exiting check box.
3.. If you want, turn off notification before automatically emptying the
Deleted Items folder.
