Hello everyone. Hopefully you can help me with this problem that has
been driving me crazy. I am using WinXP (home) on my laptop and I have
a problem whenever I reboot my laptop.
Whenever I reboot the system, the screen does not fill up the whole
screen. In other words, there is about an inch of black margin around
all four sides of the screen.
I have to rightclick on the background, go to properties/settings and
then change my resolution to something different, hit Apply, then
change it back to 1280x1024 and click OK. This will fill the monitor
screen 100% and everything looks fine.
However, once I reboot the computer, it will come back with the black
border again... arg. In fact, when I go back into Settings to change
back the resolution, I notice that it has also changed back to
"Multiple Monitors" in stead of "default monitor" - if that makes any
difference. I've been changing it just in case.
Any ideas???
(p.s. I'm having trouble getting this message to post. Sorry if it is
a multiple post!)
