Problem with paint

I was trying to use paint, but it's broken. It explodes to 300 megs of
memory usage when I try to read a 5 meg file. Anyway, I deleted paint, but I
still can't fix it.

I also wanted to mention this: http://www.kbalertz.com/kb_129545.aspx
which is some crappy site. Also, the feedback link on this page:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/129545 doesn't work, and this is by far the
worst website I've ever seen. I can't even describe how bad it is. It's
taken forever just to get to type something. Where the hell do people go to
get help with windows programs?

Anyway, I hope someone can move this to the proper place or something.

Your attempting to fix a problem you don't have (wrong angle)

Open Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Add/Remove Windows Components,
Accessories (double-click), Accessories, Deselect Paint. Exit, reenter,
add Paint.

This is a newsgroup, not a website or a forum. The problem you're
experiencing is because you're using the web view to access this newsgroup.
It is lousy. Use a newsreader to access newsgroups. XP comes with one,
outlook express (OE). Here is a link on how to set up OE for newsgroup use.
