Problem with my internet explorer

Brian

I am having trouble with my internet explorer.

1. When I open the explorer, it is supposed to
automatically open the program that dials. It doesn't do
that anymore. I have to open the dialing program first
and tell it to dial.

2. If I open a page without dialing first, the page will
not load, even after the connection has been established.

3. When I close all of the web pages that I have open,
it is supposed to automatically ask me to disconnect. It
doesn't do that anymore.

4. If I have several pages open at the same time and I
close one, they all close down. It happens very suddenly-
- almost like they just disappear. A message then comes
up saying that I have chosen to end an unresponsive
program. It gives me the option of sending an error
report.

I have a Dell computer. It's less than a year old. I am
running Windows XP. I have Internet Explorer 6.0. I
have a local internet dial up provider.

What do I do to fix this?

Thanks,

Brian

inform anyone reading this that I called tech support and
got the problem fixed. I didn't want anyone wasting
their time responding when I didn't need the help anymore.

Thanks for reading.
