Problem With Internet Explorer PLEASE HELP!

Guest

A while back I didn't know what I was doing, and I
deleted a bunch of files. Apparently one of them was
needed for Internet Explorer to work. SO now every time I
click the Icon I just get the Error report window. I
tried to remove the explorer from my computer and
reinstall but every time I try it says I already have
Internet Explorer on my computer. Does anyone have a
solution, or know how to completly remove Internet
Explorer?(I tried Add/Remove Programs)
Thanks

1. Check your system for "hijackware":

Dealing with Hijackware
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
http://www.mvps.org/inetexplorer/Darnit.htm#tshoot
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm

CoolWebSearch Chronicles & CWShredder
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/cwschronicles.html

Run in this order:

1. CWShredder (fix all)

2. Ad-Aware (fix all)

3. Spybot (generally, fix all in red)

Important: You *must* seek updates for Ad-Aware, Spybot, etc., before each
and every use, even "right out of the box". But even they can't catch
everything, 24/7. When all else fails, HijackThis
(http://www.merijn.org/files/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
your files to http://forums.spywareinfo.com/ or
http://forum.aumha.org/viewforum.php?f=30 for expert analysis, not here.**

[Alternate download pages for many of the above tools may be found at
http://aumha.org/a/parasite.htm.]

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.

So How Did I Get Infected Anyway?

2. Repair or Reinstall IE... (WinXP)
(Method 2 works for all OSS)

I have this same exact problem. For the past several
days my ie opens some pages correctly while it wont open
others. I get a error message "microsoft internet explorer
has encountered a problem and needs to close"

App Name iexplore.exe Ver 6.0.2800.1106
Mod Name msvcrt.dll Mod version 6.1.8293.0

I have deleted programs, defregged, scanned, done all the
items on the list from P.A (e-mail address removed)
I have gone into the registry, all to no luck, Does any
one have any other suggestion other that it may be from
a "parasite, or hijackware"?
