Problem with installing drivers for intel pro/wireless Lan 2100

My laptop Dell latitude D800 was upgraded from Windows 2000 to XP and since
then I was unable to use my internal Intel pro/wireless Lan 3A Mini PCI
adapter. I have tried re-installing the drivers but the installaion fails and
I get Code 28. I also get the message "cannot install this hardware".

Try intel.com,1st install from downloads,chipsets,chip set installation
utility,then
networking section,locate youre hardware,download updates.
