problem with installation

my win2k was operational until it reported a file has got
corrupted, and that i need to repair my os.Since then i
have used the erd disk to restore my os, but after
repairing, copying of files, the system reports disk
error,press any key to restart but after pressing the key
the same message is repeated. Please i am desperately in
need of help.
