Has anyone had the problem of purchasing a #10 Cyan Ink Cartridge for and HP
2000C Professional Printer only to have it last for 5 or ten pages of black
and white pages? This is the third cartridge. and they are too expensive to
keep going through this.

We have this printer at work.
It is very cheap for long run.
We print more than 1500 pages with black cartridge.
We printed more than 65,000 pages by now, and still printing !!!!
No other InkJet will give you these results.

It's not the cartridge -- it is your printer. You have a broken 'bongo pump'.
Search Google for 'broken 2000 pump' for an explanation of the problem and how
to verify that is your issue. It is possible to kludge repair the broken
plastic spring support yourself [my kludge repair has lasted over a year now],
or you can purchase a new pump assembly from HP. IMO, it's worth doing either,
as this printer will just print and print and print forever.

HP sells the corresponding repair kit with CD instructions for repairing by
the end user. It's also cheap.
