Hi,

I have the following problem:

When trying to open ie, i get the following error:

"Windows cannot access specified defice, path or file. You may not have
appropriate permission to access the item"

I have used adaware, spybot and norton, but had no luck.

I think it may be the registry key somewhere. Could somebody pls help.

Thnkx

I have also tried the recovery console from start-up, but it claims virus or
hack, and gives me an error code.

Has noone had a problem like this before?

I have had it with the right mouse click on the desktop as well as every
object in the control panel.

Is this some sort of Key regestry mess up??

Please - anyone?

Thanks.

I have found the answer. It was the firewall that had suddenly blocked the
start-up for ie.

I was using kerio firewall 4.
