Problem to install ZUNE Software on non-English Operation System

I have Windows XP, Home edition 2002 SP 2, non-English version, and I am
trying to install ZUNE software. It stops at 95% showin installation error.
My version of windws doesn't have a folder named "local users and groups"
under My computer/Manage which might be a part of the solution since when I
check the event viwer/application it shows error 1609. I tried with cmd
command via run, and did NET LOCALGROUP USERS/ADD option that I found on the
net as a possible solution (kb555847 in microsoft help and support) and tried
to installed again, but still the same thing: stops at 95%. Then delete all
temp files, msconfig with selective start-up, tried again and still nothing.
Zune support customer service tels me that the problem is a non-English
windows version and that's it. Somebody told me that if I switch my windows
version to english windows with the installation CD it should work. I don't
know how to do it and not sure if this would work.
Anybody has any suggestion that I might try before a return zune to the
seller.
Thanks

I have Windows XP, Home edition 2002 SP 2, spanish version, I had the same
problem that you mentioned in your note. After several hours of try and
errors finally I succeed and resolve the issue:
The performed the following steps:
1.- Installation of the latest version of windows explorer 7
2.- Installation of the latest version of Windows defender
3.- I deleted the windows media program that was in my computer.
4.- I went in control panel, "user account" icon and re-named my account
as "users"
Do not switch your windows into english version.
Regards
