I recently installed a trial copy of Office 2007 including outlook. As far
as I know Word, Visio, and everything else work fine with the exception if
Outlook Outlook will not even start up. It asks me for a password to use
against the default pst file, and accepts it. Moreover, I know that it
really is checking the password , because if I intentionally enter it wrong,
it will reject my input with the expected error message.
After I provide the password, it spins its wheels for a few more seconds and
asks if I want to debug.
At one point, I saw an error message number 7348 but there seems to be
nothing about this anywhere on the web.
I've tried to email MS support, but I can't do it without getting the
Product ID, and I can't get the Product ID without successfully starting the
program. I have old .pst that are vitally important to me right now, and I
can't look at them.
