Problem sitting in the registry - Seeking for help

Dear users of Microsoft AntiSpyware,

while the Microsoft AntiSpyware did not find this special
threat - sitting in the registry - Spybot-program is
always and only detecting 5 problems in the registry:
"There is a securityhole in Internet Explorer allowing
websites to execute code without asking you first."
One of these similar 5 issues is:
"HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-18\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current
Version\Internet-Settings\Zones\0\1004!=W=3".
Do you know, how I can get rid of this problem?
Spybot directed me to the website:
http://security.greymagic.com/adv/gm001-ie. There stands
a proposal: "Change the value of "1004" (DWORD) to 3."
But I don`t know to use this information.
I use Internetexplorer Version 6 incl. SP1, and Windows
XP Home Edition incl. SP2.
Thank You for your help in anticipation.
Have a nice day.

If you are using Spybot S&D v 1.3, there is a known bug
('DSO exploit'). See

http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=24389

This is fixed in the 1.4 beta version.

You can manually check/edit the registry if you wish, Use
regedit (start, run, type regedit, click OK). In the
window that opens, in the left pane click on the +es to
expand the trees, navigate in turn to the keys indicated,
in the right pane check that there is a value (name column)
1004, that it is of type REG_DWORD and that its data is 3
(it will show as 0x0000003 (3). If it is not 3, right
click on 1004, click modify, in the box delete what is
there, type 3, click OK. If the value 1004 is not there,
right click in the right pane, click new, click DWord
value. Name it 1004 and set its data to 3 as above.
