Problem printing notes page - PowerPoint 2003

I have inadvertently done something to my notes master - now it prints a thin
line on the top and left side (looks like half of a border). When I print, I
unclick "frame slides" and it still prints. I can't see any objects on the
page when I view it.

Another file I regularly use does NOT do this. I've been re-doing my master
slide formatting for the file with the problem, but can't figure out where
these lines are coming from. It appears to be where the border on the notes
page is (which is not the actual printed page border - weird!)

My workaround is to create a white rectangular boxes to "cover" the lines
and set the pure black and white setting to "white". I feel like I'm going
back to the days of white out!

Any clues out there?

I would check the notes masters for extra shapes that you did not intend.
Goto View-> Master -> Notes Master. Then use the TAB key to cycle thru the
objects on the page, looking for ones that do not belong.
