problem: printing in black

Have a brother printer(MFC 210). when printing in black(regular
printing), nothing is printed. an empty sheet comes out.
when i print in color, the complete page gets printed except black
again.
I changed two black cartrigdes. but still no use.

any settings that got changed?

Have you run a head cleaning cycle or three?

Did the cleaning cycle in the past and also today. But still no print

It does sound like a clogged head, but I'm not much good at the
instructions for cleaning those. Hopefully someone will be along to
help, or you can have a search around. It involves soaking the thing,
but that's all I can recall.
