Problem on start up

Hello out there !
Lately when I start up my OEM version of WIN XP PRO it stops after the
memory check and displays "WARNING: The boot devices have been changed. BBS
boot priority will be affected. Please enter setup to check. Press F1 or Del"
Pressing F1 gets me up and running. And going into setup (via Del), yields
no problems either. Boot devices and priority all appear UNCHANGED !!
I've searched high and low for tips in the knowledge base, to no avail !
Anyone out there having similar issues, or know what the 'problem' is ?
Thanks in advance !

Try going into setup and making some trival change such as the boot sequence,
then exit and save settings. If the warning goes away, can change the
settings back.

Hey AJR, looks like it WAS related to the battery, only the 'external' back
up, which kept 'missing' @ start-up. Thanks for the tip (although I suspect
you meant the MB-battery)
