Problem installing Vista

I built a new system based on P5WD2 premium motherbboard, Intel Pentium 4
Processor 630+ and a Raid5 SATA Disk configuration. The installation started
very smoothly, but about 20 minutes into it I get Error code 0x8007045D.
Windows cannot install required files. the build is Ver:8.1.1.1001
Date:8/21/2006 Size:1102 (KB). IMHO this can't be attributed to a dodgy hard
disk as its brand new. What should I do next please?

I am not in Vista right now to check but can't you just drag the icon from
the Start Menu to the Desktop?
