problem files creating

Hi I have Windows Xp Home edition - the problem I have is a weird one - about
2 days ago I had a virus which according to Avg & EZ Antivirus was cleaned &
removed but what I have noticed is in the Windows Temp directory there is
something creating files called - win1.tmp , win2.tmp , win3.tmp & so on -
these are creating about 2 or 3 of them about every 2 mins - how can I stop
it ?
