problem deleting sent messages in live mail

the selected messages could not be copied to the destination. Message
creation failed - mailbox is full - is the message that i have been sent.
I am trying to delete sent messages. I have cleared all my existing deletyed
messages. nothing more complicated and that is the error message i get.
meanwhile i am now being sent messages saying my inbox is full.
i have gone to tools and reconciled - i am not aware if anything happened.
i have also gone direct to the server account and tried to delete messages
there, but it does not allow me to do that, either.

can anyone help?

Your Inbox on the email SERVER is full, not the Inbox on your computer.
Go to your email account's webmail portal and delete some old messages.

I have tried to do this (as I tried to indicate). I cannot delete either
sent messages. or permanently clear deleted messages from my email account
webmail portal. Its ntl world, if that helps

Well, we can't help you with that... you will have to contact Ntl world, and
have them do something.
