I have NO idea what's going on so any help in resolving this issue
would be appreciated. Also, a failure to burn on this drive (Sony
DVD-RW DRU-530A) using DVD Decrypter resulted as well.

This looks to be an incompatibility between Windows XP SP2 and Nero/Sony
drivers for your burner.

My suggestion would be to uninstall Nero and both your burner's drivers,
and re-attempt the SP2 installation, then reinstall your burners and
Nero.
Also see on the website of your burner's manufacturer if there are any
driver updates, as well as the Nero site for updates to your program
before you reinstall these.

I have NO idea what's going on so any help in resolving this issue
would be appreciated. Also, a failure to burn on this drive (Sony
DVD-RW DRU-530A) using DVD Decrypter resulted as well.
