Problem after new Windows XP installation.

Hi.

I just installed the latest Windows XP version available.
Now once in while after an operation that uses a lot of memory for example
my Logitech MX1000 cordless mouse starts interrupting.
I don't know how to explain it is like stop and go like there are very
short interruptions.
And not only the mouse, I also can notice when this happens and I shut down
the system there are also interruptions in the sound that plays on exit.
After a restart it is ok again for a while and then I don't know what
triggers it and it's back.
Sometimes I can even use it for longer without problems also for a few
sessions and then again there are the interruptions again and as I said
after a
restart it's ok again.
I installed Windows 3 times now but this always comes back again.
Hopefuly somone in here can help me to fix this.

The computer is a Toshiba Sattelite P-30 notebook with a 80 GB hard drive,
1024 MB RAM and ATI Radeon 128 MB graphics.
I can assure you that there is no spy or adaware or malware and no virus
present.

Thanks in advance.

With what software utilities are you using so as to make sure your XP
installation has no spyware/adware/malware/virus infestations? There are no
built-in utilities for this in XP!

You should note that most Logitech drivers can install the Logitech Desktop
Messenger. This is a "customised" version of the Backweb pests, which
continuously monitors for updates to the installed Logitech drivers/software
(LDM???)

Are you installing using an XP CDROM with the drivers from Toshiba or
are you using the restore disk, which is a Ghost image of the hard
drive?
The image will install waaay to many trial offers of various
applications.
