Problem after I installed McAfee VSP 8.0

Hi all,

After I installed McAfee VirusScan professional 8.0, the system always
prompt the errow message every time I boot my computer. At the same time,
the event viewer also have some warning message, But it seems the Windows XP
and McAfee VS work well. What should I do to deal with it?
My system summary as following, Windows XP, SP2 RC1,IE6.0 SP1.

I had similiar problems saying 8.0 isnt compatable.6.0 runs fine,try removin
the software before XP SP2 the reinstall,or boot to xp cd,repair xp,then instal
a clean install of SP2,this only deletes all former hotfixes and SP1 from xp no
programs or settings.
