Problem adding template

I created a template design and saved it to a template file (.pot extension).
When I look at design options, the template that I created appears in the
list. However, when I click the drop-down option to add it to all slides, or
to add it to the current slide, nothing happens. how can I add my template
to all the slides.

Did you put your design/backgrounds/colors/etc on the Slide Master when you
created your template or did you put in on your slide itself? Click "View",
"Master", "Slide Master". This is where you need to put your designs. You
might also need to click "Insert", "New Title master" if you want a separate
design for your Title Slide.

Hello Echo,

Thank you very much. I was not aware of the Master Slide until you and Bill
mentioned it. I changed the design to the Master Slide and now it works
great.

Hello Bill,

Thank you very much. I was not aware of the Master Slide until you and Echo
mentioned it. I changed the design to the Master Slide and now it works
