I've noticed that On XP Home and Pro that some default user folders in c:\
documents and settings\ have their "Private Folders" tick box option greyed
out in sharing and security settings. But user folders for user's that I
create manually can be altered. Something else I've noticed is that I can not
access the my documents folders for default users where I can not alter the
"Private Folders" option in sharing and security. Is there a work around for
this ?

Remush,

This sounds like a problem with NTFS Permissions. With XP Pro and Classic File
Sharing, you can set NTFS permissions in a very detailed level. With Classic
File Sharing (optional on XP Pro, not optional on XP Home), XP applies a series
of templates.

With XP Pro, it's a matter of disabling Simple File Sharing, and checking NTFS
Permissions for the folders with the problems. With XP Home, you have to work a
little harder.
