Privacy Warning: ...contains macros...

MS Excel 2002
Windows XP Pro V5.1

When I open a Workbook, which has about a dozen
worksheets, I get the following msg:
Privacy Warning: This document contains macros, ActiveX
controls, or Web components...

And each time I click Save, I get:
Macros in this workbook are disabled because the security
level is high, and the macros...

I think this "broke" when I copied and Paste Special'd a
web page into a worksheet... i.e. sounds like ActiveX
controls and/or Web components. I even deleted the
worksheet after I ran into the problem, but this did not
solve it.

How do I find macros (Alt-F8/Tools-Macros), ActiveX
controls and/or Web components?
Many thanks for your time.
Gary

Hi Gary,

I think one way out would be to set your security settings
to medium.
Tools - Options - Security - Macro Security.
Set the security level to Medium if you feel comfortable
with the source of the file.

Cheers
Marcus
