XP Pro, SP3, current updates, Lenovo T60p laptop at 2ghz.

You can do things like Private Browsing to aid privacy. I've seen articles
about removing stuff from the Documents and Settings/User/Recent folder.

What would happen if you deleted the folder itself?

Why not simply download and install CCleaner from
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner ?

Set this up and run it whenever you want to clean your system - but
remember, your ISP can still track and log what sites you visit no matter
how well you clean your system.

As for "Private Browsing" - the internet browser using this system will
automatically delete the logs of where you have been on then internet, but
again, you are still tracked and logged by your ISP - so you are not really
"anonymous" when using this.

All good fun!
