Printing to Standard TCP/IP Port

Guest

I'm trying to setup a printer using the printer wizard and selecting:

"Local printer attached to the computer"
"Then create a new port"

At this point I'm normally able to select "Standard TCP/IP Port" from the
Type of port pull down. For some reason it's not allowing me. Do I need to
run some routine to add this back to the computer or am I overlooking
something simple.

Does the registry entry exist for the port?

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\Standard
TCP/IP Port

If not, did you recently run cleanspl and select to delete the monitor?
back (cleanspl basically just deletes the reg entries ).
