Printing Problems in Terminal Server with Thin Star NCD

Hi All,

I am after some help with a problem on one of my client sites.

It is a windows server 2000 SP4, with Terminal Server running around 30 Thin
Star Clients, every month or so a printer fails to print a document and the
the rest of the printers hanging off thin clients begin to hang over
following hours, I have review the system and apps logs but there are so many
messages from the NCD Thinpaths Apps and System that I can't seem to work out
what is causing the problem. This is the first time I have worked with Thin
Star Clients and suspect the problem is related to the ThinPlus software or
the firmware on the workstations.

Has any one seen such a problem before, if it helps below are links to my
apps and sys logs

Thanks in advance

Without analyzing your event logs I can guess that 3rd party printer drivers
are the most likely culprit. Printer drivers from the manfacturer, i.e. not
part of the Windows Server OS are very often NOT designed for use on TS, and
cause printer spooler failures, BSOD...
