Printing problem: ERROR

K

Keith Lau

I am having problems printing some emails within Outlook.
In that email, I am able to print the attachment but not
the email itself. Tried updating Windows as well as
Office. Still the same problem. The following is the
error message:

A Runtime Error has occurred.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 1343
Error: Unspecified error

Can anyone help?

I had the same problem, and I had to uninstall and reboot,
then reinstall Office. Good Luck!

I am having the same problem and it has to do with html emails with
javascript. Some messages will print, but 'commercial' email mostly
will not.

If I press the forward or reply button and change to plain text, the
message will print. Otherwise, no. I have tried "detect and repair"
but it doesn't help.

Help!

Update: the problem was related to Internet Explorer and went away when
I completed the upgrade from Exp 5.xx to 6.xx on Win 98SE. The install
was not smooth and on a prevous try (which left me with Exp 5.xx) it
wiped out my entire Office 2000 suite!

This time I bailed at the first error (ADDCRL failed, etc.), but when I
rebooted and told the installer "enough", I found that it had left me
with Exp 6.0 and that the Outlook printing problem was solved. It also
left my Office 2000 suite intact this time.
