Printing presentations from Powerpoint 2003 to a Phaser 6200N

When printing to a Phaser 6200N on a network from Powerpoint 2003 I get the
following error on slides that have stackable images:

ERROR: undefinedresult
OFFENDING COMMAND: image

STACK:

-dictionary-

If I try to print the same slide to the same printer but from a computer
that has Powerpoint 2000 it prints just fine. I've called Xerox but they
tell me it's a Microsoft problem. Has anyone seen this before?

I am going to take a guess, but the problem may be more with the print
driver installed on the offending computer (vs. PPT 2003). If you have
administrative rights I would start with checking what print drivers are
installed and possibly going to the Xerox website and downloading new
drivers (and if you do not have admin privileges, have your IT dept. look
into print driver options).

ISTR that we used to get this error with vector graphics that had gradient
fills as part of the graphic and were scaled down very small.

There may be something different in the way PPT 2003 prints gradients that
causes it to error with the one version and not the other.
