Powerpoint printing error

J

Jailyn Sands

I am printing out a document from PP 2k to a Phaser 7700.
It will print the first 9 pages alright then on the tenth
page, I get an error: synataxerror OFFENDING COMMAND: --
nostringval--

Stack:
/GpPBeg
-dictionary_

Any help is appreciated.

What happens if you print just slide 10? Does it still give the error? If
so, then it may be that there is something on the tenth slide that the
printer doesn't like. You might try re-building that slide.

If the problem isn't slide specific, you may just not have enough memory in
the printer to handle the presentation. Try printing the presentation in
sections and see if that works.

I'd move the slide around to see if the problem follows it (in other words,
it's something on the slide that's causing the problem).

Move the slide from position 10 to, say 2 in the slide sorter and print again
(print just slides 1 to 3 if you like trees <g>)

Does the problem now happen on page 2?

If so, it's something on the slide.

The next trick is to look at what's ON the slide. Is there anything on it
that's not on your other slides?
