printing only pre defined pages

I have a very simple form in one document on page 1, I want to be
able to on page 2 have some selected “fields” answers also appear
there at the same time. This I can do.

However…

Is there is a way within the document to “preset” "default" the
printing so people can only print page 1 and page 2 will not print.

You can do so with a macro to intercept the print command, but you cannot
force users to allow your macro to run.
This appears to be related to your other thread, where I posted a link to my
web page to show how to extract data from a form. If you don't like that
approach, maybe you would prefer that of my friend Greg Maxey - see
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Extract_Form_Data.htm where he shows how to export
to Access.

Hi

yes it is related, the problem is its a works customer data base
called SWIFT and I can only paste the results as text into what is
called a "case note" your other replies didnt really solve my
problem.

Couldn't a marco just auto run when the document is open, however I
have no idea what to write to limit it to printing just page 1.

thanks for your reply

Send me your form document and the indicate *exactly* what information you
wish to copy from it (and how you want it formatted) to the clipboard to
paste into your database and I'll tailor the macro to do exactly that. - use
the link on my web site.
