Equation editor - equations not printing

Mimi

In editing a document that has never been a problem, it will not print those
equations using Equation editor on page 1 of the two-page document. It only
prints those that are on page 2! I tried turning off word and restarting
but that didn't work. On the print preview, all the equations are there for
both pages. Graphs are printing. Any ideas why equations are missing in
print for page 1?

a difference between Print Preview and the actual (physical) output
almost always means there's a problem between Word and the printer
driver (of course, MSFT would say _with_ the printer driver ... :)).

In your case, I'd also suggest moving to another page/recreating anew
the equation to see whether printing works then.

Thank you Robert for your input. That didn't work. I had downloaded three
trig graphs from images found on internet. When I deleted them from page 1,
all formulas (many of them!) printed. If I moved them to page 2, that page of
formulas would not print. Strange! I appreciate your ideas though. What I
don't understand is that they did print before I edited the copy. Maybe it
is the printer driver...maybe not! :))) Thanks again.

so the formulas seem to be OK. Then I guess there's something in the
pictures that bugs Word or your printer driver.

Where are the pictures -- in the body text area, or anchored in the
header & footer area (the latter is the place to go when they should
repeat on every page)?

I suggest you delete them (in a copy of your document), and then try
bringing them back in one at a time. If the pictures
