Printer won't cancel print job

I am using a network printer and am trying to cancel a print job that has
stalled as it is preventing the other documents in que from printing. I have
tried cancelling the job through the printer itself but it appears that the
print job has not even made it there. I have tried uninstalling the printer,
cancelling the print job, turning off my computer, and anything else I could
think of but the print job will not remove itself. Can anyone help me with
this?
